El objetivo del Festival Latino de Iowa City es promover de manera positiva, nuestras tradiciones tales como los bailes, la comida, la música etc.. Creemos que al mostrarnos de esta manera existe la posibilidad de crear puentes entre las diferentes culturas y razas que viven en Iowa.

The main objective of this event is to promote in positive way our traditions, dances, food, music. We believe that showing ourselves in this way it will be a bridge among the different cultures and races that lives in Iowa City area.
We want to involve several musicians from the area, have traditional dances, dance lesson, Mexican and Centro American Food.
At this point we have talked we several business, organizations and people that are willing and excited to participate in such event.
We would like to do this event in the Ped Mall because we believe is the best spot in the city to have this event and also because that will help to espouse our culture to a mayor number of people.
